Every time there is a blip of something....everybody gets into this national events without sportsman....I've been told time and time again that the sportsman are staying at the nationals....
Why does a certain group always think that the sportsman are a problem at nationals....Who did you get your opinion from a parking guy....Do you think if the sportsman weren't there the crowds would be bigger... come on....we add to the atmosphere......and we bring in cash.... Pulling out from under the tower for the final of a national event still ranks as my biggest thrill.....besides the win light.... there isn't anything like it..... certainly Norwalk demonstrated that a divisional can attract spectators.... There's room for a sportsnational like in Columbus....I enjoy that race....
I enjoy going to all 3 types....Who says they're changing it.... I don't really watch the Pro's but I like being at the same race with them....because of the spectators and the excitement.... All right I'm done.... |

Dick is all about his heads up stuff, that seems to be going over as well as sport compacts .
he really doesn't like bracket racing( s/ ss) or any of the super classes. I hope his deal works out but it's not going to change or eliminate what's already in place or move us to a local level as he suggests. C Root |

Some people get to absorbed in the s/ss type racing to see that it has evolved into a bracket racing class with rules. we also bracket race but with a fixed dial (.90) and a pro tree. the whole deal is we all love to race and should be more united in our love of all drag racing instead of throwing stones at each other. plus since im typing no one has stated that the sell of "pro" nhra might be a way around the libility issues of the "pro stock trucks, the tire issues, and the up coming law suits with the widow of Darrell Russell"?
just poking the fire..lol |
