NHRA legal trans dipstick
Is a Lokar flexible dipstick legal? I cannot find a locking dipstick that will work with my Ultra bell housing.

I got one from BTE with twist lock and fits fine on my ultra bell.It is a 66 nova w/powerglide. Had to twist the bolt hole bracket ,but was no problem. Hope this helps..

Unless they changed the Lokar, it only retains the dipstick with an O ring at the fill tube. ... Altho a locking type stick is highly desireable ,NHRA does not require them in S/SS COMP,or the .90 classes. ... I believe IHRA does require them in the .90 classes, but I dont think you need it in S/SS. Tom
