Unhappy SpeedTalk - Don Terrill - RIP

For those that are not aware, Don Terrill, the administrator and owner of the SpeedTalk website, passed away last week on December 13th.

There have not been any additional postings since his passing. I am not aware of the circumstances of his death and do not know what is going to happen to the website an his racing software offerings.

My condolences to his loved ones. Rest in Peace.

I met Don when he was still in high school and actually met him thru mutual friends and a street race here in St. Joseph, Mi. area. He and another friend he went to school with, Brian Berk, ran the ex-Don Holben '76 Olds wagon for a while and then turned Brian's Olds Cutlass into a V/SA Stocker with a 231 V-6. They wound up qualifying #1 at the US Nats in the late '80's or early 90's. Don later took a job working for Felix Sabotes in NASCAR before starting the web site, Speed Talk. Will surely be missed.

Thanks for posting this.
I have learned a great deal from searching articles and posts on his website.

I have always liked the sites low-frills high content style.
A great loss indeed.

RIP Don.

It appears the forum has been "read only" since 12/13/18.
