That's a very interesting photo. The gentleman in the rear resembles someone that I raced with in D3 over two and a half decades ago.

To say that Lloyd was an interesting guy is an understatement ! He was truly unique. I got to know Lloyd and become friends with him through another very special person, Mike Scott. Mike was one of my best friends and Lloyd became one as well. He was a perfectionist to the T. I had him do an interior for me that required special leather material. He said it would take a long time to find the correct stuff and he wouldn't do the job till he found it. Took almost 3 years but the job turned out to be show stopping !!! Not long after he bought his V6 Firebird he set the record with the car at Maple Grove and I helped him with his teardown and unknown to me he put my name and Mike Scott's on the record certificate. He was really a great "car guy". He was also a world renowned Stamp collector and dealer as well as having one of the most complete Hot Wheels collection known to exist. He was a very savvy businessman but in the end he was just a great friend !!! RIP, Lloyd.
