What's particularly noteworthy here is the 7000 rpm it takes to run those kind of speeds.
That block is not the most sturdy one out there.
I wonder how many runs the bearings are good for? ;-)

Thumbs up Re: Jason Line / Dan Blabolil

Tom Rix had his Buicks running hard in Top stock and they seemed to live. It is nice to see the odd brand out there.

Agree 100 percent. The entire Line family is an example of what happens when you have real commitment, are willing to work hard, and truly understand what drag racing is supposed to be about. Fine, fine people.

Hey Danny, how fast do you think that you could get a 1970 455/350 Olds to go in SS if it were at 290 HP?

Hey Billy -- Boy would that be nice . I get the inference 385/325 - 350/360 but as you know that combination has been rated at 350/stock 360/ss . As it is 360ss add 100 lbs. and run SS/HA on a 10.65 index . ------ If it -were- rated at 290/ss I think you could add about 150 lbs. and run ss/ka . That would put it high 10.60s low 70s in stocker trim on an 11.25 index but we both know that will never happen. Meanwhile thanks to Craig it's been a lot of fun and satisfying trying to find little things to pick up some et here and there. Hope to see you soon. Maybe Atco you never know.
