WOW. Always knew about that rule, but haven't seen it enforced.

My round 2 bracket showed #1 in stock was DQ on a bye run. Don't know why but I am guessing loose weight

Heard second hand that this was DQ for failing fuel check. Sunoco fuel purchased at the event.

I stopped using it due to that same problem. Back to VP.

I was the one that got DQ’d on a bye run. I had bought some Sunoco Supreme at Grand Prix auto in Tulsa I had it tested before I put it in the tank and it was “right in the middlei”. Bought some Supreme at the track (
The vendor by the gate) and had it tested, it too was right in the middle. When I mixed, the two together it was way off. Both fuels were Sunoco Supreme and both passed check before they were mixed.

That really stinks Derek. On a bye run of all things...

You've really got that Road Runner flying!

I lost a round with Sunoco I bought at the track that day. No mixing. At one time we could not buy VP at the races. Decided to just use Sunoco. Made less power than VP, but was safer than hauling a lot of fuel from home. After Sunoco not passing Fuel Check between rounds during eliminations, twice, I quit using it. Started hauling VP fuel in my trailer.
I did not race in 2018. Was looking after Jeanie.
Can we buy VP at Div 4 races now?

Ed, no vp for sale at D4 races. Like you, I haul vp in the trailer. It's a lot of gas to tote around, especially if you're optimistic about going rounds at a double.
