Smile The COPO experience

As the lucky guy who got to drive the first COPO out of the Gm plant and to a race track I have nothing but praise for the car.Mine is the 4.0 blower and we went from 8.88 off the trailer to 8.499 yesterday. Sure we spent time and money trying different things but in 3 short months we won class at the Columbus nationals and was number one qualifier today. I owe a great debt of gratitude to my crew chief Bob Bielaszka of The Transmission Shop New Era Performance for their spot on tuning ATI for their help support converter and tranny lingenfelter for their components .My wife Paula who should drive since she can mow the tree down and last but not least Roger Allen and all the guys at Gm for their continuous support and technical help. It's a great race car and it will be even better after we have had a winter to make it even better. The factory muscle cars are back and none too soon. Oh and before I forget Donnie Raiser had nothing to do with any aspect of our success and he has never driven a COPO and I doubt he ever will unless they make the whole side a door so he can get in

Great to see your car running so good. I saw some awesome pictures of your car you took, like with the hood up and down on a see-through type of shot.

Do you have a link? Can't find them now.

Also, you running a 3-speed yet or still the 'Glide? Good luck.

Nevermind...hand the computer to your teenager...they can find anything! Probably more than I want to know!

Thanks for posting Paul. All those guys at GM really deserve high praise for delivering a very good race car. Their customer support is proving to be very good too.
