I want to send out a big CONGA-RATS to Danny Waters Jr. after winning Quick-Rod at the Kanawha Valley divisional race today. I don't know which was more enjoyable seeing the smile on Jr's face or seeing his Dad jumping and carrying on after the final. I haven't seen Danny Sr. move like that in 30 years.(LOL) Great to see Danny Sr. not having to work the race and be able to enjoy the day with his son. You will not find people any nicer than these two. Go for 2 in a row next week at Kinston. Mike

Thanks guys .That was great for me to be a part of that win .It was like the old days when we would go together and make some noise .For those of you who do not know us ,you may get to see my son in my stocker when it is finished..Just very proud of my son and his acomplishments in drag racing.He has won a world championship in 98 and CARCRAFT driver of the year in 99.He has won an iron man in every rod class and in top dragster .I hope soon we can add one for stock.Sorry for tooting my horn here ,but i am a very proud father of two great children( now grown-ups and still proud) !!!! THANKS
