The Beave would be good too, the new owner is very open to anything that brings in the people, racers and fans.

I have little information on this but I know the organizer of the 422 Allstars has been ill and they are in a similar situation . They're schedule was at some of these tracks. It might be worthwhile to contact them. Wayne Shipley and Dave Siltman among others are members here. They ran with us at Mason Dixon the last two years. The group has 30-40 cars and bring in a lot of spectators.

Mason dixon doubles work the best. Scheduling is easy, soliciting sponsors for $2500 purse is the challenge.

Going to see if a race can be scheduled in March or April...

Would like to Dedicate it to Mike Carr….

Call it the Mike Carr Mountain Challenge
Unless there is a better name to call it !

Have no problem donating a bit of money to make it work.

Any interest in helping here?

Need more feedback on what best tracks and dates are best to race at?

We already have Mason Dixon for November!
What other Maryland Tracks are interesting.

The Pennsylvania tracks mentioned were
South Mountain only runs Sunday and only 1/8 mile.
Numidia, Beaver Springs or even Maple Grove.

Especially if the races were set up a week before an NHRA Meet.

Is there any interest in VIR, Richmond 1/8 mile

Do you prefer the set up Mike Carr had with a Saturday and Sunday race?

Does anyone like 1/8th mile?

2 races for 1 tow is what makes combo races great, so sat and sun races would be preferred.

No 1/8th mile, you won't get any car count.

South Mountain won't draw any cars.

Adding to a MG event might work. Dave Ley did/does it for super chevy with his series and I think had a decent car count.

I hate to see a series go down. We started the Can Am Stock Super Stock series 22 years ago and we are still going strong. Not to step on any toes , and only offering some suggestions , We had always looked after our own pay out according to car count. We pay the tracks for driver and crew and each racer pays 100 per race. Then all collected money is paid back. We pay back 50 for first round win and usually the winner will see 800 t0 1400. This all is depending on car count. The only thing you need from the tracks is time.

We are doing a .90 race at Numidia the weekend following the Lucas Oil event (Fathers Day Weekend), not sure if Vinny has worked on a Schedule yet but, might be good to get you guys on board. They are allowing guys to leave their trailers at the track following the LODRS weekend.

Good advice.
That is something to capitalize on!

Thanks
