Default msd cable question

this question is aimed at tech west, or maybe even dragster guys, or anyone that might know for sure.
question: is it ok to put two pickup cables together? ie. just purchased a 72" shielded pickup cable, and need a little more length to be tidy. i had a plain 72" on here before, can i plug the new one into the old (unshielded) one to get the desired length i need?

Default Re: msd cable question

Quick way to make a nice bundle of wire is to chuck the ends in a low speed drill. slowly hit the trigger with someone else keeping the ends straight. Tom
