Yes, kinda of like that. Paint was blue and white though.

Couple more photos. The photo with it paired up with the hemi dart was from facebook. The black and white photo is from Mrs. Gross when they got the car back from Tom Proffer. Last photo is car today. Please give Mrs Gross photo credit on black and white photo if you repost.

According to Steve Detar that is his dad Ted Detar in the Dallas Hemi. Ted did the motors for the car and other hemi super stockers too(plus lots of funny car/AFX stuff). Ted was out of Wichita too. This was taken summer/fall 68 before Ted died in a racing accident later that year.

There is another BO that is white and is still in the family Al ........ I cant remember his last name
Then theres the LO23 of Pete and Jake Toms. It is still with the family of OO.

There are prolly a few more but none I can think of

Perhaps the white one is Al Adamic's "Al's Toy" out of the Cleveland, OH area?

That's quite possible.

I posted a few photos of Dave Raybourn's "BO29 code" Barracuda on the Hemi Shoot Out Facebook page yesterday. This is the same car that Richard Beshore won the 2002 Mopar Hemi Challenge at the US Nationals.

These two photos are from the 2008 US Nationals.

What real cars does Bucky Hess have? I know his 1st car was one of the originals, don't remember whose he said it was. I believe his later & current 'Cuda's are recreations. Thanks!
