Re: Duster Shipping Weight??
shipping weight 3154, factored hp 283. 11.14 factor, only add the 170 after to figure your minimun weight.
SS/IA=3000lbs min SS/JA= 3280lbs min SS/KA= 3565lbs min i think they round down in SS weights correct me if i'm wrong.

Re: Duster Shipping Weight??
Do i need to weigh by actual scale weight what the class weight is or is that just a number that they use to class the cars ????I'm going to be adding some weight to the front of and already nose heavy car ( 56%-44%) by removing my fibergalss hood and going to a steel hood So if I know where I need to weigh maybe I can add some weight in diffrent places to make up the imbalance. Thank you guys for all your help and imput just trying to figure out where I need to be..

Re: Duster Shipping Weight??
you can basically weigh anything you want as long as its heavier then the minimum. In some divisions if your heavier then the next class minimum they will give you some *****. ie: running SS/JA at more then the SS/KA minimum weight. So it doesnt matter where the weight is just how much total. Although it definately matters in the setup where your weight is i'd say 50/50 is ideal for a stocker, not sure in a SS.

Re: Duster Shipping Weight??
Your combo is a natural "J" car which is an 11lb. class. You are allowed to weigh the minimum for the class. You are also allowed to move up one class (SS/IA) or down one class (SS/KA. To run your natural class (SS/JA) your car must weigh 3280lbs. 11lb class X 283hp + 170lbs = 3283 rounded to 3280lbs. Jim
