327/275/250hp Super Stock engine.

Currently run in 66 Chevy II SS/H 275hp combo


275hp with Q-Jet
250hp with 4GC

built in 06'

Bowtie block
Manley rods
PSI Springs
BME pistons
Jesel rockers
Jesel beltdrive
Victor "E" manifold
Charlie's pan
TCI rattler
Total seal rings
Deano carb

etc etc

Engine has 9 runs since freshening in '09

Have original build sheet
Have original dyno sheets and current dyno sheet

Complete carb to pan

hello have to ask how do u make 250 hp out of the 275 hp motor do u have a two set of heads that come with the motor????

yes I now thats but those two motors have defrent heads on them the 250 hp has 1.72 intake and the 275 hp has a 1.94 hmmm

I run a 66 Chevy II with this engine I can run SS/G,H,I with the 275hp combo or I can run in GT by putting a 4GC carb on it. At my weight I can run GT/G or add weight to run GT/H. I have run both combos. There is no changing heads just the carb. I claim the 65 Nova 327/250 for GT. Ed

The big valve motor rated at 270 the small valve rated at 258. Jim Hanig

Cool Re: 327/275/250hp Super Stock Engine

So I don't get asked this question anymore the engine made 556hp on the dyno with the 4GC carb. The motor was not dynoed with the Q-Jet on it. Obviously it makes more power with the Q-Jet. Thanks. Ed
