Trailer-Aid Ramp
I’m looking for opinions and experiences with a Trailer-Aid Ramp. Is the Standard 4 1/2” model fine for tandem axle non spread axle with torsion axles or is the 5 1/2” needed? Also how well do these work with leaf sprung tandem axles?

Very handy in my opinion. Don’t use it as much since I quit using trailer tires. Last edited by Shadylane; 06-08-2019 at 11:53 PM. |

Re: Trailer-Aid Ramp
I'm too cheap to buy one so I made one angle cutting and stacking 2x6's. I have a tandem torsion axle with 16" wheels and it's worked great. I'm pretty sure mine is 3 layers high which would be 4 1/2". I carry a cordless impact and have had to change a flat and it's a pretty quick deal with the ramp. I've used it on my leaf spring open trailer and it works fine on it.
