I was at the show Thursday and it seemed pretty busy for the first day, so I imagine it will be very busy today!

Back from day 2, and today's crowd was a little larger. Not much to talk about as far as Stock and Super Stock. Ran into a few more racers along with many of the sponsors of Class Racer.

We only do 2 days, so tomorrow morning we will be heading home. For anyone that is on the fence about going to PRI, its something you should do at least once.

These are just random photos of the day. How about that Turbo, the thing weighs more than my car.

First of all I need to apologize for my attendance at the FS/XX meeting. I was not aware it was by invitation only. I did speak with Randy Eakins, who was unable to attend, and passed on the highlights of the meeting to him. The meeting room was packed. It was standing room only. I found a seat on the floor. Lots of new faces with several new cars being built and updated. The most impressive take away from the meeting was how positive and professional everyone was on the inputs on the class. Its going to be a GREAT show..........again. I can hardly wait!

Like Ken said everyone should plan on attending the PRI Show at least once. If you do go once, I bet it won't be you last. Some highlights that I recommend if possible is the opening breakfast on Thursday morning. It's good food and plenty of it, and Dave DeSpain interviewing some racing greats while hundreds of racers dine. My favorite part is the seminars that the vendors have during the show. Make no mistake, it's about selling. How many times do you get to ask Richard Maskin a question about cylinder wall finish for steel or molly rings? Or the welding of the bottom of the top ringland to the ring, and how to prevent it from happening from the founder of Wiesco. When the seminars conclude you know after application of your new found understanding your stuff will be better and faster. Now here comes the down side, as I'm leaving I see Pauley, crew chief for Gary Richard, and Brian Tilburg. Well so much for my vision of catching Gary, maybe we can inch up on him a little. It's off to another area for education and help on going faster. See you there next year!

I would say the best place to see information on the FS/XX class would be the S.A.M. Tech sight or the NHRA Racer.com site. The last thing I need to do is speak about a meeting that I was not invited to. Plus you know how old people get things "mixed up".

I saw an Amish or a Mennonite group in attendance. Please no Horsepower jokes.

We arrived Wednesday evening. It was interesting, to say the least. We saw a few familiar faces. Had a good time.
