Talking Factory $tock $howdown

So now that "we've" put down our $.25million to show up and race, how much are "we" racing for. As in Pur$es. Is there a per race and final standings money list somewhere? -NHRA.com-? Thanks and see ya at the line!

Don’t think the participants are really worried about the purse...

But FSS will be fantastic to watch. With a new track surface being put down for the 50th Gators there will be 30+ entrants with several in the seven second range. With good air I’m thinking a 7.86....curious what Mr Teuton thinks, he usually gets pretty close.

Would be great if a DP shows up as a Motown Missle tribute (apologies to Greg Luneack). In 1971 I drove all night from Western KY to Gainesville for the Gators and stopped at a little two bay gas station in town at wee dark thirty. The Motown Missle was in there with a whole bunch of guys working on it, oh the memories.

I have searched what the value of an EGO is. I have not been able to put a number on it. If you find the answer let us know.

This the link to the purses.

NHRA is using this category as a premier class, but the purse is basically an insult. For the entry fee and the quality of the cars, NHRA should step up and put the high beams on the purse and make it attractive enough to bring in more of these vehicles.

FSS is now a 16 car field and was all of 2018. Pretty sure it will be so in 2019.
