Cool 10 Tie down straps and axle strap recomendations?

Please feel free to chime in on the good, the bad and the ugly.

The growing fleet has caused me to take a rather hard look at the Jegs 10K axle straps and rachet assemblies, they seem to be wearing out a bit quick for my taste.

I have some Mac's axle straps that are really nice.

Just got some Gforce strap and axle combos, which are pretty nice, but I am not really sold on them. I have had gforce stuff in the past.

What do you all use?

Anyone use towing company grade Vulcan stuff?

Thanks

Eric

S-Line Tie down straps(3,333 lbs. working load limit) rated 10,000 lb. capacity

Used the Jegs combo straps for many years without issue.

We use Mac's tie downs, and they are the best. Tons of people have problems with the car coming loose in the top of a stacker, but the straps on ours are as tight after hundreds of miles as they are at the beginning. Plus, they pay contingency.

I will echo what the Hill's say, Mac's is the best. I broke down and bought a set last year and have only used them several times, but they seem just like new. I have tried all of the other cheapies from the farm stores, harbor freight, chain and binders, and I think I am staying with Mac's.

I have used the Mac's straps and they are excellent. Also, the Vulcan Professional grade are very good too. Vulcan Pro also has some unique specialty tie downs that work very well in the out of the ordinary applications.

Look at Allstar Performance part # ALL 10188, (Summit sells them)
It's the "direct hook" model that incorporates the snap-hook at the point of the ratchet so you don't have to crawl under the car to "tighten the strap down". They're made in the USA by M&R products (formally in NJ) and packaged for Allstar......I'd also suggest using axle straps w/Delta rings & sleeves, they're offered by M&R as well.
Check out M&R (http://mrproducts.com/)

If you prefer cheaper "knock-off'" straps, The Stafford Springs Swap meet is coming up on April 15th.

BTW, The new RV & trailer look awesome going up Rt 495,
