Results TVD Stock/SS MWCR race July 7 & 8.
I'd like to thank everyone who participated in a really fun time at the TVD Stock/SS race and Ice Cream Social at Thunder Valley the past weekend. Thirty-three cars showed up with thirty-one of them capable of running each day. The MWCR brass lied about the guaranteed $1000 payout though. Being that there were more than thirty cars, they paid out $1250 to the winners. I believe the runners-up received over $600. If we get to 50 cars in September, the winners share goes to $1500 per day. So SHOW UP!!

Monty, Jamie & Cheryl Jones supplied the yummy HOME MADE ice cream, which was a great treat on a VERY WARM weekend.

The Saturday Winner was Brett Speer and Jamie Picht was runner-up.
Semi-finalists were Marlene Nelson and Mark Verba.

On Sunday, the winner was Mike Koppien and Tom Meyer was runner-up.
Semi-finalists were Denny Nelson and Dave Picht.

We all had a great time in spite of the heat (reminded me of the Class Nationals at Byron for those of you who can relate) and are looking forward to an even bigger event with the USA support in September (BIG PAYOUT). Hope to see even more racers there.

They Were Lucky Oi And C.a.k Didn't Show Up

Well OI, maybe we're lucky CAK wasn't there. He could actually drive. You always talked a good race, but I don't remember any Wallys -- Ha! Actually CAK would have been proud of Michaels win. He did a great job all day.

I hear you're actually coming are way. True?
