Default Golf cart, gas or battery?

after recently having access to a cart I now realize the value.

What is your choice, gas or battery power?

I agree with this message. I put in some revised clutching along with disabling the governor, carb jetting and opening up the airbox on my G29. It has way more low end grunt for towing plus it will run 32mph on level ground. Fast enough that I felt it started to get a bit uncomfortable when braking from speed, adding some hydraulic front discs took care of that.

The main thing on gas vs electric at the track is how many times are you going to have to charge an electric compared to the gasser holding around 6 gallons of fuel? A lot!

Gas! only way to go, and they are a lot lighter than the battery carts too.

My first was an electric cart that would not pull my race car. The gas one, no problem.

GAS. Imagine running the generator all night just to charge the golf cart...or running out of juice while going up for the final and your crew has to run a qtr mile
