Pulling the plug on Lebanon Valley
Given that Friday might be the only day even close to no rain?

Re: Pulling the plug on Lebanon Valley
My latest forecast is showing no rain on Friday or Saturday, and a small percentage on Sunday. Will keep on checking, but I know several people who decided not to go to MG for the same reason, only to text me the whole weekend explaining why they didn't go and should have.

Re: Pulling the plug on Lebanon Valley
If we believed the weatherman all the time we might as well just put a FOR SALE sign on everything and get out, we'd race maybe 1-2 times a year with that thinking. As a promoter Ive been on those phone calls with tracks on Tuesday, telling me they are going to cancel the weekend due to rain, then they do and the wind comes in and blows it in a different direction and its sunny. Then you get the phone calls and messages from the racers going "great call on that one". Yes, I know it sucks with fuel prices and all but, right now racing is about the only thing keeping most of us sane so enjoy it because I can tell you one thing....the next shortage is Racing Glue....it's coming folks, one of the main supplies for the glue has stop making it so everyone is in a hurry up and try to find an alternative. MIR has already announced no more new private rentals for the remainder of the year due to having enough glue to get through the rest of 2022.
