AC Delco Seal Tabs

Anyone using these? They are placed in a water passage of an engine during assembly and dissolve when water is added? Was shown these things yesterday but had never seen them before.

Had, and used, a couple of packages of them when I had the Buick. Wanted to make sure I didn't have to yank the heater core.

Brian,

the Delco tabs are a good product. In addition to the method you mentioned they can be put into any cooling system at any time.

The tabs were developed for the North Star Cadallic aluminum blocks which leaked around the head studs.

I have used them many times over the years for weaping headgaskets and heads. The PN is #10953473
