It would be real nice to have one in the southern part of the division. Maybe Gainesville or SGMP in the fall after the 1/4 mile races are done for the year. That's when the weather is best here for racing. Late November or early December is usuall nice and cool. It's a good start for other opportunities to race our style of racing.

Like James said, last year not many supported the I section of the sport. Now there is alot of question need to be answered also, but i will not post it here and let the neg.people beat this to death, like it has already started.Good luck D2 and track owners. Not that it matters a whole lot now, but if you are talking about the same Vega station wagon that was at the last two Dragway 42 IHRA races last fall, I don't think there was much stock legal about it even if you never put the hood up.

Mickey, you looking for a Kenworth or a Peterbilt. You could go Nostalgia with a Mack or go conservative and get an Izuzu, or go progressive and get a Mercedes Benz. No matter what, you would look good in a truck especially with a jet engine. Bye bye rag top.

Now, back to our regular scheduled thread.

Good point Mike. Back in the 70s, the late November National Open at Suffolk VA was a big race.
