A revolution in SHIFTING
Altronics Inc introduces "SHIFT" a revolutionary shifting system! This system replaces conventional shift linkages, shift cables, CO2 bottles, shift solenoids, and RPM boxes with one integrated, safe, reliable, and simple to use system. The unit currently used in our Super Stock test vehicle for the last two seasons was first shifted repeatedly over 35,000 (thirty five thousand) times on actual test fixtured transmission before being put directly into vehicle. Click here for demo video of SHIFT-> Check out our website for more info -> http://www.AltronicsInc.com Look forward to hearing your feedback and questions on this system! |

Re: A revolution in SHIFTING
How's that electro-magnetic clutch release coming along with NHRA approval?

Re: A revolution in SHIFTING
And why are tracks having problems finding new blood to enter into a dying game???????????????
We need to start eliminating push button / electronic devices altogether. This kind of crap is totally ridiculous. I can't imagine this selling well unless you're a high end SSer or Comp racer with no expense spared

High end? SHIFT will retail in the $600 range. Figure out how much a good conventional shifter, CO2 bottle, rpm controller will set you back? Thanks for your input though! Last edited by Altronics; 08-05-2011 at 03:01 PM. |

Re: A revolution in SHIFTING
Does it work with a 16 or higher voltage system?

Re: A revolution in SHIFTING
Wondering if you have explored that for manual transmissions and along the way getting NHRA to accept one.

Re: A revolution in SHIFTING
For sure! That is what I run and we also manufacture the PowerLite Lithium 16 volt batteries if your interested.
12 or16 volt, works exactly the same with either! |

Re: A revolution in SHIFTING
I think lack of new blood is more from lack of them not wanting to do anything that requires effort or work.
Shift in my opinion would be what new blood would want.,it is technolgy, looks like you would use your thumbs as they do texting. Looks like good ideal and neat product, but not for me,I'll keep banging gears as long as I'm racing. Hope you sell alot of them. Mike Taylor 3601 |
