Also happened to Davidson against Koivisto. And Mr. wright...they don’t want everyone to go across the scales....only the winners.

Re: Strange happenings in Stock race 1 in Tx.
I was wondering what happened as some the runs I looked at in round 1 seemed to have the losers in round 2. They need to have some system to let the winners know they won other than by cell phone. I would never think to carry my phone and if I did it would probably die about when I needed it.

Seems to me, without a red light in the other lane and early win light, when you can win or lose my thousandths, why not just stop at scales until Jr. downloads the time slip for you ?

Why not jam-up the scales and fuel check and see how long it takes NHRA to fix the problem that they are trying to create?

Re: Strange happenings in Stock race 1 in Tx.
I always wait at the scales if I lost a round just to be sure. My dad has been reinstated over the years a couple times when the winner drove on by the scales. And I'm one of the young ones at 51...

Nice to have a phone if your car quits at the last turnoff...Or maybe you meet a potential customer in the lanes during a half hour cleanup..You want to save his number. Too much of a convenience, in today's world , to go without it. Maybe just me ;-)
