Who is on the bump in Stock
Totally unscientific, but here is who is on the bump. There are 10 classes that are singles that should move up. C/FS, N/SA,H/FI,B/S (Kevin is sandbagging of course),H/FIA (Tony D), Q/SA, R/SA,U/S, L/S (.425 under; does that get in?) This (if correct) would put Jason McCormack A/S # 119 @ .840 under and lower on the bump. There is one N/S single in the last 10 that would remain. That should put Stephen Laws B/SA @ .848 under on the bump also. Course there is a shot tomorrow, plus class. Totally unscientific of course.

And I forgot to mention "The Tent" staring 'Tricky Techester Hisself'. Maybe that will bump someone also.

Re: Who is on the bump in Stock
Just looked at the radar and forecast. Looks like rain around the track now (9.35 pm CDT) and nothing even on the map behind that, at least to Iowa anyway. Should speed up tomorrow. I gotta go next year. Got way too much time on my hands.

Re: Who is on the bump in Stock
Jeff,(Kevin is sandbagging of course)
Not so fast on the assumptions.. Remember the wheelstand/traction(or lack of it) problems and consistancy Kevin has been having with the Camaro. I think I can remember some phone conversations that might be having an influence on what you are seeing in his times...Woops, let me try to remember.. was it wheelstanding because it was de-tuned or was that the clutch set up... Humm! guess we will just have to wait & see how Indy plays out...One thing is for certain, Sherri is not there. I seem to remember something about all of us that didn't got to Indy meeting at the Boats in Shreveport... Jeff, know any GOOD places to eat in Shreveport?

Re: Who is on the bump in Stock
>> know any GOOD places to eat in Shreveport?
The one year after covering the IHRA Bracket Finals, me, Dennis Tarkington, and Gooch were looking for a place to eat one night. No one could decide, as we passed all of the typical fast food stuff. We kept driving, and ended up in the not-so-good part of town. I go, "Hey guys, there's Uncle Buck's BBQ!" Gooch said, "I ain't scared." and Dennis echoed that sentiment. We turned around, and stopped in. It was one of those eerie moments when we walked in the door and it got stone quiet. Nobody said anything, but in my head it sounded like, "Are you boys LOST?" We ordered, and the locals went about their business. Some even struck up a conversation after awhile. And we had the BEST BBQ Chicken I've *ever* had! Couldn't tell you how to find it. Go past the Micky D's and Popeyes, and keep driving till you get scared. ;-)

Re: Who is on the bump in Stock
Adger, the Horseshoe Casino has a really great resturant and they will take your marker, chips, credit card. Bobby Brannon is the resident expert on dining in Shreveport/Bossier. On Kevin, I was just spoofin Kevin, too much time you know. Then we went to No Problem last night to test, and it was rained out. At least I'm loaded for the Friday night race. Looks like the bump spot really moved up this morning in Stock.

Re: Who is on the bump in Stock
roughing it out with bump-ins(11) and those holding a spot(7), I have #110 as the last regular qualifier @ -.920.
#110 851 O/SA Graeme Cooper, Melbourne AU 68 Chevelle Subject to change, my error and THE TENT. Some can still get in as alternates. There were a bunch last year. Some good races today! Some, not so good. |
