Default I need help with ford journal sizes.

I need to know the width of the crank on a small block ford journal. I mean the rod bearing end. I had a crank machined and I think the width is wrong. I know what Chevy and Chrysler is. If someone could please help I would appreciate it.

Mearsured 3 different cranks all around 1.688-1.690 wide. watch which way rod goes on crank most w's
go opposite of chevy/mopar they're some w's that have rods that go in same direction as chevy/mopar
look at bearing should be offset to one side in rod- away from radius on crank. When I grind crank and
get call saying it not right normally crank won't turn on fords they have tried to put thrust bearing in rear
like chevy instead of center or they start putting rods in locks up,and they have put rods in backwards
and bearings are hitting radius on crank.or race crank with 1/8 radius that use chamfered or narrow
bearings upper and lower bearings are mixed and hit radius. I don't know your mechanical abilities so
if insulted or intelligence I apologize, just thought throw some tips that may help if needed.

Just a word of advice, if you do go to SB Chevy only have the Craank widden to 1.820 the have Rods @.900 wide on Big end, you can ten use the standard SB Chevy bearig just make sure it is chamfered ont the outside of bearing.
