Default Scale Recommendation

I have been looking at purchasing some scales for the car and with such an available selection was wondering if anyone had some they prefer or some to avoid. Doesn't need to be fancy but reliable and accurate.

Thanks!

I have Longacre 72593 scales with 1500 lb/wheel capacity and they are battery powered so the scales go anywhere.

Bought them through Summit and no shipping charges

Once you make your choice, pay daily attention to ebay. They have had 3-4 sale days of 15% off everything. Could save you some$$$.

I have an old Longacre 72588 that I've had for many years. Nothing fancy. They've always worked fine. Had an issue a few years ago and had to send the box back for repair. Even though it was basically obsolete then, they took care of it for a reasonable price. If I were looking to replace them, I'd likely go back to them. New ones are available with wireless operation, small tablets you can take under or in the car with you, or the old fashion style. Just depends on what bells and whistles you want.

Intercomp is also supposed to be good. I wouldn't consider anything other than those two.
