Default Response from NHRA

My post to NHRA

Hello NHRA
Have been a NHRA member since 1970 or so.
My company is an IHRA Contingency Sponsor for IHRA for Pure Stock.
Called the Pure Stock Challenge
Heard that you will be inviting Crate Motor Cars in 2018.
Please consider Pure Stockers..
Would love to continue the Contingency Program with NHRA .
It is a great entry point to grow Stock and believe there is a pent up demand.
Been a advocate for Pure Stock and have a good healthy following.

Please rsvp..would like to continue this conversation.

ALSO can conduct Career Seminars to Vets and others.
Can help them consider careers, how to market themselves properly and stay relevant for the long term.

OSU

Sincerely,
Dan Fahey

NHRA Response back to me

Dan – thank you for your email and interest in NHRA Drag Racing.
Where I so oversee the Contingency program, the acceptance of a crate motor car would all go through our competition / tech departments.
I will be sure to forward your email to a group of them.

If this does come about in 2018, would love to have you as part of the Contingency program
Eric

That's an interesting response Dan.
At least it wasn't a flat no on your first try.
