Default NHRA seeks Vice President Of Technical Operations

Maybe we should get one of our own in this position.


NHRA is currently conducting a nationwide search for a Vice President Of Technical Operations. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Racing Operations, this results-oriented leader will oversee all aspects of technical operations. The qualified candidate should possess a strong background in rule making, race vehicle design and operations, electronics, and systems. Extensive experience in a senior-level position, preferably in an auto racing or sanctioning body environment, is required along with the ability to effectively facilitate communication among all stakeholders in the sport. My other brother David McCandless was offered this job. He's an engineer and reconstructed accidents NHRA has had.
