Who is going to try the new class? Can't tell by the entry list.

I see you guys asking a lot of questions, but not giving up much information! What about you guys? Gonna play with the big dogs or going to stay on the porch?

Re: Heads Up in Stock at Indy
Is this a new "class" or just a special "race-within-the-race" at the Nationals? Will this be just the new "Supercars" competing against each other at a minimum weight and special index, or can other Double and Triple letter vehicles compete? If the competitors will also be allowed to enter in the "regular" eliminator, will they be able to get back to legal weight?

Re: Heads Up in Stock at Indy
It will be treated as a regular class at posted minimum weights on a 9.90 index and you still gotta get in. Can't run AAA or AA or BB and run in the Shoot out. It will finish on Friday probably with the SS/AH cars. Course at the rate of entries, gettin in might be everybody. Only open to 08 and newer. Rules are posted somewhere on the Tech site I think.

Re: Heads Up in Stock at Indy
Jeff, so this is like the inagural Top Stock race at Norwalk in 2000? No going back to A/B/C for the main eliminator, you had to stay as 'T/Stk' @ 8.25 pounds? What will the designation be on the windows at Indy, FS/S (Factory Stock/Showdown) ?

Re: Heads Up in Stock at Indy
What is the max. weight of each car? You know if the regular cars are to heavy to fit the class the run will not count. It should be the same for the "Showdown Cars". It might be disapointing to run 9.30's and not get in!

Re: Heads Up in Stock at Indy
There is only a minimum weight for each kind of motor in Factory Stock Showdown. That is the name, but I don't know what the window designation will be. 3000 V8 3475 V10 3675 Blown all with driver.
