Re: Mission Race 1 and 2 of 2023
Thought I was going to be there. Looks like the race, Door Warz 11, that the NWCRA is a part of will be live streamed this weekend. Don't know the times that the Stk/SS combo will be running.

Re: Mission Race 1 and 2 of 2023
Not certain who won Saturday but I did see John Buczynski and James Boyce in the finals on Sunday with John coming out on top.
Congrats! Looked like some long days.

Re: Mission Race 1 and 2 of 2023
I believe it was John Buczynski and David Rastad in the final on Saturday with David coming out the winner. So a win and a runner-up for John. Congrats to the winners and runner-ups for the weekend.

Re: Mission Race 1 and 2 of 2023
The mission race , while not the car count we would of like, was a lot of fun.
The Mission track people are great people to work with and the track prep was good. The stands were full of Race fans. (Something not seen for sometime at some tracks). Border crossing both ways was very easy, just like pre Covid years. Hopefully we can schedule another date at Mission that does not conflict with a big dollar foot brake event that prevented many from attending. Steve Teeter. B/SA. 620 |

Mission Raceway Recap
Ron and Rick are correct on the winners and runners-up. If we had an award for the highest wheelstand, Darrell Stobbe would have won it easily, darn near dragged the bumper. He had problems on Saturday but got them figured out by Sunday and went a few rounds. Thank you to al the racers who attended our first 2 races of 2023. We got to see some old friends and make some new friends. The weather was perfect all weekend with mid 70 degree temps (22-23 Celsius) and a light breeze off the river. We had some really good, close racing as you can see from the finish line photos which are posted on our Facebook page. A big thanks to Dave Jung and John Buczynski for sharing their pit spaces (and shade) with us all weekend. And a double thank you to Dave Jung for letting me borrow his golf cart when needed. And finally, Thank You to Kevin Ness, Mission Raceway Track Manager; Shelby, the lady who makes the entire operation work smoothly, and all of the Mission staff. Those folks are great to work with. And a HUGE thanks to my son, Mike, and his wife, Jillian, for all their help. Jillian manned the table collecting entry fees and handing out T-shirts. Mike took photos and videos, plus posted all the results. Thanks to both of you. Hope to see all of you at Spokane on August 26-27.
