Southern Ontario-Western NY Super Gas

Hi everyone,

I wanted to let anyone with a Super Gas car in the Southern Ontario and Western NY area know that I am again running 2 weekends of Super Gas racing in conjunction with the DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Series in 2013.

We are working hard to try and put together a Series for Super Gas cars and we are taking small steps towards doing this.

The events when Super Gas are to be running will be June 29-30th at Cayuga Dragway (Toronto Motorsports Park) and September 14th-15th also at Cayuga Dragway.

On the 14th of September the winner of Super Gas will win an NHRA "Wally" for their efforts!

We are also working getting guarenteed payouts and increasing them if we can. Currently the payouts look like this

5- 8 cars $500 Win $200 R/U
9-11 cars $600 Win $250 R/U $120 Semi
12-16 cars $700 win $300 R/U $120 Semi
17-21 cars $750 Win $350 R/U $170 Semi $120 QTR
22-26 cars $800 Win $400 R/U $170 Semi $120 QTR

Tech cards are $80, if we can get a good following going I would like to start a points series with it in 2014.

UPDATE!

Theres no points program for Super Gas or Frantic 14 but we will have some exciting news coming out for a program that will allow our Super Gas winners and Frantic 14 winners to compete for a special end of year prize!

This is going to be a really exciting year for racing again in the area and you wont want to pass up on these great events!

For those that don't know our Super Pro class allows throttle stops so any .90 racer can Bracket race and run their Stop set-up.

And in Modified (No box) our rules mirror Super Stock so any class legal car can race with us!

As mentioned above there are two separate weekends racers can run for a NHRA Wally with the DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Series!
