Drayton Valley Stock /SS Combo Race

I would like to invite all Stock/Super Stock racers to come and compete at a Combo race to be held at Drayton Valley, Alberta on Sept.3, 4 and 5. There will be parking Friday Sept. 3, Qualifying Saturday Sept. 4 and Eliminations Sept. 5.

Prize Money from the Event is $2750.00 from the organizing Committee which i will then top up to $4000.00 based on a 16 car field. We will pay back to the quarters, so win one round and get money. There is a $200.00 number 1 qualifier and $200.00 best package in eliminations. Other Sponsors have shown interest and more money could be involved.

The Facility is an airport surface that was repaved 2 years ago and a newly constructed return road last year. The pitting is off of each edge of the runway and the cars are pitted on the asphalt. The track prep is fairly good as I ran my A/SA there last year 7 round to the semi finals of Pro with no traction problems. There is on Site camping and many family oriented attractions such as Monster Truck rides, and other rides and games. There are several good hotels and restaurants within 6 miles of the track.

The Organizing committee is experimenting with this and if we get good support and put on a good show this could have great potential.
