Best way to get into SS racing
I have been bracket racing on and off for about 20 years and am interested in getting into class racing, how would be the best way to get started. I know that everyone on this board has a wealth of knowledge and I would like any input you all have. I currently have a 66 ElCamino Bracket car and a69SS396 Chevelle, and a 67 327 powered Malibu (awaiting future use). Thanks for the help in advance.

Re: Best way to get into SS racing
My recommendation to start out is to buy a complete car. Get one from someone who has actually attended some national and divisional races.
Make arrangements to pick it at the track after you have seen it run the numbers you expect. Buying someones car is way cheaper than starting from scratch and there are some good cars out there at a reasonable price
