Default Boss 429 intake

Very rare original Boss 429 intake manifold, has the Buddy bar stamp and some original fittings. Has been stored for many years. $2000

Curious what is the part number on it?

Is it for the D port head?

Thanx!

There were early and late Boss 429 street intake manifolds.

Early had the cylinder # cast on a raised boss over each port.
Late had only the center 4 #'s raised and cast.
Somewhere in production the mold got dirty and the C9AE-9425-D will look like every other number was ground off. Less desirable.
Should have original Ford blue paint on it and the brass fitting for the brake booster, brass fitting for pvc, vacuum tree, temp sender.
Are the threaded holes in good shape, especially around the rear heat riser tube? Can you send pics to rapidmustang@aol.com or to
703-929-4955. Thanks, Bernie

I was asking because I have one myself I am thinking of selling.

This is the part number on mine

XH 10025, Buddy Bar on bottom of intake.

I've never seen another one like it and was wondering if maybe it was the same as mine, sorry. Thanks though.

Joe Strunk,

Is your intake aluminum or Magnesium? Air gap with a valley pan or solid? Open or restrictor plate? Ford made a new one every week for NASCAR so there are many versions of the Spyder single 4v. Some are XE, XH, C9, even Holman & Moody. Hard to put a value on them. Kind of a beauty is in the eye of the beholder thing. Send me a pic and I will try to ballpark a value for you. They you can try EBAY or Boss302.com and find more potential buyers. 703-929-4955 or rapidmustang@aol.com Any other Boss 429 parts let me know please.
