No, 9000 isn’t as bad as it can get, fairly easy tow, picturesque settings, lots to do in area, great eating places near track, wonderful owners, linear pits although tight, same for many years, sloped staging

You accept the altitude

My guess and for me, after racing at many tracks, Bandimere’s dirt/asphalt shavings pits so far from the action is just too much to endure as one ages

I’ve had 2 wins and 2 ru there, you’d think it would be a priority race....no

Was looking for the ladder and see they are getting a fourth Q this morning. Winning combo just how many runs does Bagley get to make? LOL. Seven runs before eliminations, has to be a record for non-Indy National event.

My PerformAire read 10,350' yesterday. Today will be at least 10 degrees cooler.

Coming from the West I 70 sucks for towing over the hill, but with limited tracks, we don't have much of a choice..

Agreed 100%,a good place to start would be Brainerd seeing the points meet is a week before the National.NHRA would still get 60 cars at the National regardless.I see your trying to get in,hope you can. gsa612

I can’t fathom why you would ever want less races with class. Let alone put that suggestion on a forum that nhra reads. You don’t speak for me, nor would I hope, the vast majority of class racers.
For crying out loud, we should be universally advocating more races with class.
I really don’t get some of you guys.

Congrats to Bill Bagley for winning that 10 car auto combo class! Car and driver doing great in that thin air.

I don’t see any downside to having class elims? Even if the car count is low.
In fact I would advocate for class elims at Division races even if there was a charge to participate.

Just a slightly different mix of classes and it could have been one massive combo. That would have been kind of a cool race.

You would have a throwback race where you raced off indexes for class then the regular race. Almost two races in one.
