The one on the right is a solid roller lifter , I think to run a tie bar style lifter in a late model LT1 block you need to have the .300" tall solid roller lifters .

On my LT-1 Stocker, I used Bullet short travel hydraulic rollers with the tie bars and recall those lifters could not be installed or removed with the head on...….
They were to tall and hit the head before they cleared the lifter bores I Never had a reason to remove them so it was not a problem.....
