Default Schumacher losing US ARMY sponsorship

DSR is losing the ARMY sponsorship after the 2018 season--Nothing lasts forever--- that will be a hard sponsor to replace lots of money there---FED 387

Well, seeing as how OUR tax dollars have been paying for it...................


But, seriously, U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) has been facing many challenges filling quotas recently, I'm sure the staff that runs the Motorsports Program out of Fort Knox, KY looked at the production numbers and convinced the Commanding General that their limited budget could be better spent somewhere else. No pun intended, but this will truly be a "changing of the guard". This is going to leave a big hole in the footprint on the Manufacturers Midway, as well.


I doubt much will change at DSR besides the wrap on the dragster and the fleet of support vehicles.

Most know how I feel about Nitro cars either the Ha Ha type or Top Fool. I will not lose any sleep over it. Just my 2 cents worth. NEXT !
