Talking Supercomp/Quickrod

I am looking to buy a new dragster to replace my old hard tail. The options are endless as well as the engine combinations. I am looking @ two builders, my question is if you were building/buying a new dragster for .90 racing what is considered to be the best/baddest piece to have right now? any input would be appreciated. I just don't want to say I should have or could have afterwards. Thanks.

It's important to look for a chassis builder that will meet his deadlines. There are a lot of chassis builders out there that build an extremely nice car but fail to meet there delivery deadlines. This question would be best answered by past customers. Best thing to do is sit in a few different cars and see what fits the best. Builders use different seat and dash designs and it would boil down to what was most comfortable to you. Also important is serviceabiliy between rounds. Look at how easy it might be to change the transmission, something as simple as a starter button under the car to remove/replace the converter bolts can make all the difference in the world.

Mark Horton at American is a fine builder. So is Don Davis, if your patient like others state. But in my opinion there are American, Davis, STS, Undercover, Mullis all build very good cars. It does come down to, Where are you, Where is the builder? Which one will build what you want/need. When can I have it? Leave yourself enough time to get what you want and need from who you get the best feeling from but, use a Big name builder like American.

Talking Re: Supercomp/Quickrod

Thanks, everyone. I currently have a hard tail so I can wait for a new car to be built without rushing. I have contacted the chassis builders and am waiting for a return quote from someone/anyone. We'll see.
