Default A fun way to look at issues

I am amazed that as big As NHRA is they do not have a way to suck up the water and dry the dry at the same time, also a way to scrape up the rubber on the starting line they are still using the touch and scrape. I suspect there is a quicker way to get the job done by asking John Bandimere if he has a machine that works and NHRA should have many of these anyway to dry the track
I am amazed that drag strips spend money to get racer to run at their track and then when the racer gets there early, they make them wait to get in.
I am amazed that the NHRA purse for sportsmen is less now than 15 years ago.
I am amazed that tracks do not have enough space to pit the number of racers who want to race at their track.
I am amazed that some tracks pits are still have gravel for race cars to pit in . as I am a pit snob , and a starting line snob, and a hotel snob lol at me at my age

You make too much sense Don!
I saw some Scag equipment being used at the last race?
I’m familiar with street sweepers , having been involved in the specs before I retired. Pretty easy to use a good Elgin or Tennant to do the job.
Pretty sure Supervac in Co. has some great equipment too.
All are very high maintenance though…

This is a creative and simple tool use by "La piste d'accélération Pont-Rouge" near Quebec city, to scrape the old rubber near the starting line area.
