Default 2016 TSSSSA Preview

2016 TSSSSA Preview

As stated previously, we have just concluded the biggest and best season ever in the TSSSSA's nineteen year existence. Our average car count for the eight races was thirty-five cars (285 total cars raced with us). I do not foresee any major changes in our Series for the 2016 season, after three consecutive years of upward movement. I have heard very little complaints of the way we do things; the ladder deal not withstanding, which was unanimously voted to remain reaction-time based. The only other issue that had ever been mentioned to me is the lack of scales/fuel check/heads-up Class runs/true qualifying, which is unable to be done. But, I always like to hear what the racers think; if there are any things we can do to even better the Series for this coming season. So if there is anything, please feel free to post below or e-mail me at buffdaddy_1302@hotmail.com . You can also drop me a line there to get signed up for our monthly E-Mail Newsletter.

Ideally, the schedule will remain the same for next year (8-9 race season), with three races each at Quaker City and Pittsburgh, plus the two annual races at Hagerstown. We were approached this past season by another track wanting to host us for 2016; I am hoping to hear from them soon. H-town will remain two days/two races, but we may make Saturday a non-points event, to leave us a make-up/rain date, if needed. If we do, both races will count for points if a rain date is needed.

I think that is about all. Any input, please feel free to send it to me.

Thank you.
