Well, weather took a turn for the worse on the forecast, but we are out here and it looks like the track has made improvements. Just got parked. Here are a few pics of the improved sportsman pits. They brought in some crushed concrete and its a little loose, but I think it's gonna do the trick.

Hagen take a look at the radar got some heavy stuff heading your way now from the west.

It won't take much rain to get ugly quickly. Tremendous amount of rain on east side last couple of weeks.

Hagen, I hope it works out for y'all and good luck. No way sportsman should have to go through what happened 2 years ago. Maybe this is just the start of the improvements to come.

Hagen, is it just the side road that got the rock, or the entire back pit area as well? Not being an lucas oil sponsored or a comp racer, you know we're going to get stuck in the back 40. Thanks for the updates.

They went about half way down the side road and a bit in the back 40. It isn't perfect, but it's a start. We brought the lawn mower just in case we got shoved to the back. Got lucky and we are about 5 spots from the front on the side road. So, we let a few racers bum the lawn mower. I'm sure they appreciate it because the grass is a tad bit high. I guess that's better than putting ruts with a tractor cutting it.

Now, if we didn't have to sell these spots to motorhomes, we would be in great shape

Thanks for the wishes of good luck. It appears like it's working because the weather forecast changed again. Now it says 20% today and tomorrow. 60% on saturday, and 10% on sunday. We all know it's going to rain at some point. Even when it's predicted to be clear, you're always going to get some rain at this race.
