Re: Live From South Georgia Motorsports Park
It looks like the only "real" rain chance in on Sunday.....and that is 50%.....Looks like they can get the race in.....that is good news.

Re: Live From South Georgia Motorsports Park
Well we are still at the track in Valdosta. We testing all day yesterday, so decided to rest and recuperate today. We have everything ready to head down the road first thing in the morning. We went ahead and dumped the motorhome and took on fresh water at the Campground at Exit 32. Great place to go. $6 to dump and they gave you the water. And it was easy to get in and out of. We went ahead and filled up with fuel while we were out so we don't have to make any stops tomorrow.
I talked with Bev Provoast who is parked at a friend's house about 2 miles from the track and she said that everyone who went by came back shortly. There are not that many rigs still here except for the pros and comp. But they get the best spots anyway! The weather is looking like there is going to be a big storm here and there tonight. We are going to see what it looks like in the morning and then leave accordingly. We will be "Live" from Gainesville tomorrow. |

Have a safe trip and keep us stay at home posted, we really appreciate it. North of the border (in Montreal) we are getting ready for more snow....
Stay well and have a good time. |

"We are pitted inside by the fuel and tire rigs with Roy Hill's stuff - we are the two exhibition match race cars being filmed with the hosts driving - who are recent graduates from Frank Hawley's school.
Yikes!! Andy and I fly in tonight and will drive from Orlando in the morning to Gainesville. Producers do not allow "full disclosure" yet."

Re: Live From South Georgia Motorsports Park
Thanks for the posts Patsy and all who responded-I've been swamped with work at school, so I didn't get a chance to read them until today-seeing everyone hanging out together reminds me of what great people racers are-fiercely competitive but willing to give the shirt off their back and anything else to help out a fellow racer, even if that person is going to be in the next lane in the next round. Best of luck to all at the Gators.
