Default Diesel repair in Gainesville

Well got up this morning to thunder storms and threats of tornadoes started the coach and its not happy. Anyone have the name of a good and trustworthy diesel repair shop near the track? I'm going to take a look and change filters when the sun comes up and it stops raining. Thanks Robbie

Robbie, last year I used a mobile repair guy who came from Ocala. Can’t remember the name but if you google it they were ok. You could also call Jim Wahl who lives near the track. Mike McMahan 2543 H/SA

Mike thanks, I got a recommendation from a local racer the guys name is Mike Helton I don't have Jim Wahl's number. I talked to Helton he's looking into the code I have also changed the fuel filters and replaced the part the code said (a transient suppressor) its an electrical component in the fuel system. The engine in my RV is a 1999 Cummins ISC 330 HP. Any help from anyone would be appreciate. 301-481-3782 Thanks Robbie

Just wanted to update where this adventure is. We made the trip to Ocala Cummins to get the replacement part. That did not help I changed fuel filters (they where new for this trip) no luck. I have a tech coming from Ring Power to run diagnostics and we'll go from there. This has been an adventure but not necessarily the good kind. But I want to take a minute to thank everyone that's call or texted with help or just to make sure we're ok and we are. The racing family sure is a close knit family and I'm so proud to be a member. We'll know more tomorrow thanks everyone.

Well its looking a little better. Appears its an ECM problem. Were going to try a reflash and go from there. Thanks to everyone and especially Terry Nagel for all his help.

Well the old ECM was dead and could not be reflashed. A new ECM has been ordered and will be here tomorrow. I hopeful this will take care of the problem. Thanks again for all the calls and texts. More tomorrow.
