Default Tech Teardowns in Stock Eliminator

How recently do you know of a teardown inspection going beyond the top end of the engine in Stock Eliminator? Specifically, requiring the pan to be removed?

Thanks in advance.

Regards to All that might respond,

Indy 2015 four pulled pans and 50% were bounced. One was protested and had to pull rod and piston, car passed with flying colors.

Any idea why they were "bounced"?

How do you guys get an oil pan out of most chassis? Can't pull one out of a 3rd Gen F-Body without lifting the engine wayyyyy up! Just curious what kind of equipment the track provides, like a cherry picker, etc......

Forklift, cherry picker, wooden pallet, what ever it takes on the racers part to get the job done. You got to love it!

Larry

Refresh my memory, who were the four racers that had to pull pans? And who were the two that got bounced? What for?

You can PM me if you choose.

Thanks RJ

Sean Doran never went down the track in 2015. J Allen passed and I can't remember who else had to drop the pan that was ok.
