I try to get all my naps in for the year before the first race.

First off.... I really hate the winter & the cold weather. Might be different if I had time to ski or snowmobile but I don't.
In the off season I do a few things......
I look at my past seasons log book, time slips, each round... etc and evaluate whether or not my strategy worked.... if so what went right, if not what went wrong and what I could've done differerently or what I learned from that experience. I usually make a list of the mistakes I made so I can refer to it in the future to avoid repeats.
I also try to set some type of realistic attainable goal for the season either a performance or success goal. I look at the schedule and decide in advance what races I will try to make and then prepare a budget for the season that I do my best to adhere to. Maintenance on the car centers on identifying anything that might improve consistency and predictability... and finally I do hit the full size tree in a deliberately random way (just like in real life)

Angelo, I thought you decided about what race to go to as they are calling Super Stock to the lanes. I definitely am going , maybe. Have a great rest of the off season.

There is a thumb wrestling league I saw on the internet, can't remember where but that would be suitable training.

I bought a hand held practice tree at the Ohio Valley racer party silent auction.
