1st gen Camaro/Firebird body interchangeability
Racers,
What is the body interchangeability with the 1st gen cars? Especially front the end. |

Re: 1st gen Camaro/Firebird body interchangeability
I've seen many 67-68's with a Camaro frt on a FB. In circle track days I've seen a Nova frt. on a Camaro making a Camova!

I was told that the 67 door hinges and mounting are unique to that year only. To change to 68 astro ventilation doors is a big hassle.

Doors are stand alone, each year . C, F interchange .
Front sheet metal, cowl vent, will interchange, , as long as it matches the doors. F-R glass ,all the same, as is deck lid. Sub frames will all bolt in , but F-Bird a bit different for radiator support and bumper mount.
