Default Hoosier drag radial air pressure?

Just wondering how much air pressure to run in a 30x9 hoosier lightweight drag slick on a 10 inch rim.Car is a 2800 pound fox body Mustang auto?

I run 21 lbs in those same Hoosier slicks on 10" rims (94" circ.). My car weighs 3,540 +, but most people I've talked to are between high teens and low 20's. Lots of variables between vehicles, but that should give you a starting range.

It will be interesting to see if anyone is much lower or higher, especially in lighter cars.

I run 22 lbs on good track and no less than 18lbs. If it doesn't hook with 18lbs then I make a shock adjustment. Same tire and weight as Myron. Jim

I have run as high as 26psi with out a problem my car does not have alot of power. Fox body at 2965lbs low 1.60 sixty foots 1.59 twice 5.0 stocker

22-25 in 3700 wagon....1.52/60 19-22 in 3300 Demon 1.36/60 Both calvert springs and nearly 50/50 weight.

ran them at 24 psi on a good track 3660 lbs car,,check the track for bald spots and stay out them !!!!! gmonde
