Default 1978 Chevrolet Camaro Turnkey Bracket Car

1978 Chevy Camaro tube chassis bracket car for sale. Very consistent car that always goes rounds. Almost every part on this car has been replaced in the last three to four years. The car has raced mainly in no-box but has raced in box as well.

-Chassis has NHRA 7.50 chassis cert good through 4/2015.
-Funny car cage
-Pinto A-arm front suspension with all bushings & ball joints replaced three years ago
-4 link rear suspension converted to swing arm
-Wilwood disc brakes
-Dana 60 rear end with 4.56 gear
-Moser axles replaced 3 years ago
-Powerglide transmission with 1.76 ratio and Coan Sportsmen transbrake - fresh two years ago
-Hugh's 9" spragless convertor - fresh last year
-Hoosier 16-33 D07 slicks new this year
-BLP belt driven fuel pump & bypass regulator - fresh this year
-1150 Alcohol carb
-MSD 7AL-2 ignition with 3-step rev limiter
-Optima Red Top battery - new last year
-MSD Crank trigger
-MSD Billet Distributor
-Meziere 45gph heavy duty water pump - two years old
-Racepak Sportsman with fuel pressure and Air/Fuel ratio sensors

Engine is a GM Performance 502 block build and dyno'd two years ago by Chuck Noonan at Performance Machining (http://www.npm2.com). The motor has between 65 and 80 passes on it and has:
-Eagle rods
-Comp cams roller cam
-Crane stud girdle
-Dart 308 Iron Eagle heads
-Many other quality parts

The car has had a best ET of 9.247 @ 145mph (picture of ET slip is above).

The car has also had body panels replaced with new VFN Fiberglass hood, front end, doors and deck lid four years ago. Three years ago Fender Header Exits were added by Diamond Race Cars. The car was repainted two years ago.

This car has been a great, consistent car that has won many rounds. The chassis works very well and the car is very easy to drive. It is just time to move on and do something else.
