Default Are leaf spring sliders legal in stock?

Rule book says factory mounting point not factory mount type. Anyone running sliders in stock?

If it's "sliding" then it's not mounted.

How would you control the sliding?
Probably not legal, as well.

Rear suspension / traction aid devices...anything bolted on OK...anything welded on not OK. This may be over simplification. .or just plain wrong..but that's the way I understood it.

I'm not even sure what we're talking about at this point.
Replacing the spring shackles?
Housing floaters (which won't work with the above mentioned) ?
Adjustable uppers are for 4 arm suspensions, not leaf springs.

"Must remain as produced" means stock shackles. There was never a slotted shackle factory produced on a leaf spring car.

Replacing the spring shackles?
AFCO and others make them. They bolt or are welded to the frame rail and the slots allow the rear spring eye to move forward and backward.

They are not legal replacements for shackles in Stock.
